If you want to make a positive contribution to the life of the village, consider standing as a Parish Councillor. There is a vacancy arising through the retirement of Tracie Dean. Full details are on the Parish Council website here.
The Parish Council meets every two months and looks after many of the village interests and facilities. It has an important function in voicing local public opinion to our District and County Council, and sets the Precept which finds its way onto your Council Tax. Council meetings are open to the public, but we rarely see more than two or three residents there.
